My solar panel app (Fusion Solar) indicates ''abnormal communication''.

When the Fusion Solar app indicates ”abnormal communication”, there is a communication issue between the inverter and the internet.

 

Important: This does not affect the operation of the system. Without communication between the inverter and the internet, the system continues to operate normally.

 

When this happens for the first time and nothing has changed in your Wi-Fi network, restarting the inverter usually resolves the issue. During the restart, the inverter will attempt to establish a new connection with the Wi-Fi network.

 

Always try to restart your internet router as well, check if your internet connection is active, and ensure all switches of the system are in the upward position.

 

Restarting the inverter:

 

1 – Turn the black dial knob, located at the bottom left of the inverter, to ‘OFF’.

2 – Set the switches of the system (usually in a plastic box next to the inverter) downwards (”OFF”).

3 – Wait for at least 5 minutes.

4 – Set the switches of the system back to the upward position (”ON”).

5 – Turn the black dial knob, located bottom left on the inverter, back to the ‘ON’.

6 – Wait for at least 10 minutes.

 

After this, you should see data in the app again.

 

If there has been any change in your Wi-Fi network, such as a different provider, router, signal booster, signal strength, password, or network name, or if a restart of the inverter does not resolve the communication issue, the inverter needs to be reconnected to the Wi-Fi network.

I forgot my password for the solar panel app (Fusion Solar).

If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset it through the Fusion Solar app. Go to the login screen in the app (the screen where you enter a username and password). Click on the blue link “forgot password”. Follow the steps in the app to quickly and easily reset your password.

 

If your app indicates that you cannot reset the password because your account is not verified, or if you are unable to reset your password, visit our store in Calpe where we can assist you free of charge.
