A pool heat pump extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to heat the pool water.

Polytropic vs Zodiac: Compared to Polytropic heat pumps, Zodiac heat pumps consume slightly more energy, are a bit less quiet, do not have a 4G option, and their controls are slightly less intuitive. Internet communication via 4G is a valuable addition, as a strong and stable Wi-Fi signal is usually not available at the heat pump’s location.
